As a third generation Las Vegan, Mr. Mack’s family has been involved in Las Vegas businesses, real estate, construction and development for more than 80 years.  Mr. Mack attended the public schools in Las Vegas, graduating from Valley High School at 16 years old, and then attending UNLV and University of Nevada, graduating from the University of Nevada in 1983 at the age of 20 with a B.S. in Accounting with Information Systems Option.  He was the only undergraduate to ever teach at the University of Nevada by letter of Appointment from then President Joe Crowley, and was a member of the Business Games Team that won the national competition.  Mr. Mack worked for several years in Southern California prior to returning to school in 1988.  He attended Southwestern University School of Law’s S.C.A.L.E. program and graduated in 1990.  He was a member of the school’s ABA Negotiation team, which won the regional competition and founded the Real Estate Association on campus.  Mr. Mack passed the Nevada State Bar in 1990 and began practicing law in 1991 after completing a one-year clerkship with District Court Judge Joseph Bonaventure.  Mr. Mack’s law practice has focused on real estate, construction, contracts, corporate, business and real estate transactions and litigation, serving various construction companies (generals and subs), real estate companies and agents as well as lenders, developers, business owners and individual investors.  Mr. Mack has also been a Pro-Tem Municipal Court Judge for the City of Las Vegas (criminal) for over 18 years and uses that experience to provide criminal defense as well.  For the past fourteen years, Mr. Mack has worked in-house as a transactional attorney and/or officer of the businesses.  Mr. Mack served as Commercial Counsel for Triple Five Corporation for almost three years, Nevada Legal Counsel for Dyson & Dyson Real Estate Associates for seven years, Assistant General Counsel for NV Energy for a year and was Executive Vice President/General Counsel of Peek Construction Company and Williams Brother, Inc. from 2009 through 2012.  Most recently, Mr. Mack has joined the law offices of Black & LoBello.

Mr. Mack has also been involved heavily in community involvement, most currently appointed by the Clark County Commission to serve on the Jaycees Retirement Community Board of Directors.  Mr. Mack is a past President of the Fremont Rotary Club, past President of the Buena Park Boys and Girls Club, a founding member and past Co-President of the Interfaith Hospitality Network (now named Family Promise, a coalition to assist homeless families), as well as formerly serving several years as a member of the Boys Nite Out Committee and other fundraising committees for the Las Vegas Boys and Girls Club.  Additionally, Mr. Mack had served for two terms as Chairman of The Court Reporters Board for the State of Nevada, first appointed by Governor Miller and then reappointed by Governor Guinn.

Mr. Mack has three children, Ages 23 (Devyn), 20 (Alex) and 18 (Lauren), all born in Las Vegas and have attended Clark County Public Schools.  Devyn graduated with Honors from Centennial High School, graduated from UNLV in 2014 and is teaching Special Education for the Clark County School District.  Alex graduated with Honors from Centennial High School and is attending the University of Nevada, Reno, and Lauren graduated Centennial High School in 2014 with High Honors and is attending UNLV as a Nursing Major.
