Mr. Li joined Black & LoBello in December of 2013, primarily focusing on financial restructuring and insolvency matters, and incorporating within his practice, general business and commercial litigation experience related to real estate financing, development, and construction disputes. After immigrating to the U.S. from Shanghai, China, and having spent most his life in southern California, Mr. Li earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics/Law and Society at the University of California, Riverside, and his Juris Doctorate at the Boyd School of Law (UNLV).

Prior to joining Black & LoBello, Mr. Li interned at Jun He Law Offices in Shanghai, China, where he worked on various cross-border strategic acquisitions and related securities transactions. Thereafter, Mr. Li gained significant exposure to the state appellate process as a judicial extern for Justice Michael L. Douglas of Supreme Court of Nevada. After law school, Mr. Li obtained his real estate license and co-founded a local property management company specializing in investment, marketing, and maintenance of single-family residences throughout southwest Las Vegas. Inspired by his entrepreneurial experience, Mr. Li joined a small law firm, where he had the opportunity to represent a diverse group of consumer and institutional borrowers or guarantors in complex restructuring efforts through mediation, state and federal litigation, Chapter 7, 13 and prepackaged Chapter 11 bankruptcies.

 As a member of the Nevada Bar, Mr. Li is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Nevada.

 Mr. Li is fluent in both English and 中文 (国语和上海话)
