Randy M. Creighton, Esq.
Randy M. Creighton joined Black & LoBello in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at a prestigious bankruptcy firm where he practiced corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency issues.
Mr. Creighton has extensive experience representing large corporate debtors, individual debtors, creditors, unsecured creditors committees, liquidating trustees, and trustees in every facet of bankruptcy cases.
Recently, Mr. Creighton was awarded Commendations from U.S. Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) and Nevada State Assembly Speaker Barbra Buckley for his volunteer work with the Legal Aid Society of Southern Nevada Pro Bono Project. During 2009, Mr. Creighton was one of 50 attorneys to reach the Legal Aid Center 50 Hour Club for time spent assisting low-income clients with pro bono legal services in the area of child abuse and neglect.
While obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree from the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law, Mr. Creighton served as a legal extern for Chief Judge Randolph Baxter of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio. He also interned for Coors Brewing Company and worked on the merger of Coors Brewing Company and Miller Brewing Company.
Mr. Creighton was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in October of 2008. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. As of 2010, Mr. Creighton has been approved as a Licensed Foreclosure Mediator by the State of Nevada.
Mr. Creighton attended the December 2010 session of Max Gardner’s Bankruptcy Boot Camp. Mr. Gardner is a prominent North Carolina bankruptcy attorney, who passes on his techniques for utilizing bankruptcy laws to identify and stop the abusive practices of predatory lenders.
