Adrianne C. Duncan earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration, from CSU, Hayward in December 2001. In May 2005, she received a Juris Doctor from The American University, Washington College of Law, in Washington, D.C. Ms. Duncan was admitted to the Nevada Bar in May 2006, and to the United States District Court, District of Nevada in May 2008.
Prior to joining Black & LoBello in June 2006, Ms. Duncan practiced family law. However, since June 2006, Ms. Duncan has focused her practice on general civil litigation. She has represented clients throughout the litigation process in a broad range of matters including insurance defense and premises liability, personal injury law, real estate litigation, breach of contract claims, and lien law.
While in law school, Ms. Duncan had the honor of serving as a law clerk for the White House, Office of Administration, General Counsel’s Office, in Washington, D.C. In addition, Ms. Duncan spent time in Europe studying International Economic Law, and International Institutions and Sustainable Development. Ms. Duncan also had the opportunity to serve as a law clerk for the Public Defender Service, Juvenile Services Program, in Washington, D.C., where she worked with children in the District’s detention facility to protect their rights within the system.
In her spare time, Ms. Duncan enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, son, and their two dogs. |
